My name is Thabo and I am a South African wearable art designer based in Johannesburg. Since I was an introverted young boy, art always provided me with a place to express myself and be creative as I could. I was always intrigued and amazed by artists who created something from nothing. This with the love I had for art inspired me to pursue a life of a creative. As I was inspired by others, I strive to inspire people and other creatives through customising and upcycling clothes. I plan on providing self-expression with my creations.
My Mission
As most of the customised clothing will be new, we plan on selling thrifted(unused clothing) items, transforming them into new, functional and stylish pieces. Through this, we are extending the lifespan of existing garments and reducing the need to produce new clothing items.
We aim to promote creativity and individuality, as each piece will be uniquely designed, allowing individuals to express themselves, showcase their personality and interests, and stand out in a crowd.
